About our Owner DVC by Resale is owned and operated by Shontell C. Crawford, Licensed Real Estate Broker, who has been helping Disney lovers own their piece of the magic for less, for over 20 years.  Originally from South Carolina, she moved to Orlando in November of 1989 and immediately went to work for Walt Disney World in Resorts. During her 5 year career at the happiest place on earth, she enjoyed being a Cast Member at the Lake Buena Vista Golf Club, the Jazz Co. at Pleasure Island, Hoop de Doo Review, Crockett's Tavern and the front desk at Fort Wilderness as well as being on the opening team of the Yacht & Beach Club.  Licensed in 1997, she began her real estate career working with a general timeshare resale company where she learned the good, the bad and ugly about timeshares and how each management program was designed, shaped and valued. Promoted to management, she lead their Disney Vacation Club resale division for 4 years before earning her Broker's license and founding the first timeshare vacation club resale company exclusively designed for Disney Vacation Club Members to buy and sell their ownership.  Subscribing to the "Keep It Simple, Shontell" approach, she maintains a successful, full service boutique business and website model for her DVC Member clientele.  A DVC Member herself since 1999, Shontell not only knows how the Disney Vacation Club works, she has enjoyed over 10 DVC Member cruises, stayed in almost every DVC Resort, maintains an annual pass to Walt Disney World and has shared the magic with thousands of friends and clients over her 20 plus years of service. She has used her DVC points to travel extensively and can share many personal magical experiences thanks to her own DVC Membership. An animal lover, she has helped with the rescue and rehabilitation of many English Bulldogs, including a few that became her own over the years.
